Overview

We get views of the wildlife of the salt marsh that people almost never have an opportunity to see. We sail daily from April until October so we always know where we are likely to see the most interesting birds and with 25 years of experience running these tours we know where we are likely to have the best trip. Our route varies daily depending on conditions.

This is an excellent experience for serious birders. There are many shorebirds to see on this trip, and many opportunities to view them up close. Best to go during migration season, but an enjoyable experience any time. The captain and naturalist on board are very well versed in birds and are skillful at locating them and picking them out. You will see oystercatchers, osprey, various terns, rails, etc. The terns breeding areas was particularly interesting. A nice relaxing way to spend a couple of hours.

Worth every penny. Got 3 life birds and it’s hard for me to get a new life bird in the East. Captain knew where to look for each probable species. Only 10 in our trip so it wasn’t crowded. Good day.
