Overview

We get views of the wildlife of the salt marsh that people almost never have an opportunity to see. We sail daily from April until October so we always know where we are likely to see the most interesting birds and with 25 years of experience running these tours we know where we are likely to have the best trip. Our route varies daily depending on conditions.

A very relaxed tour of the waterways around Cape May. Captain Bob really went out of his way to try to find all of the expected birds around for the time of year. All the while, taking great care for the safety of his passengers. The Yellow-crowned Night Heron grabbing its preferred prey, on cue, was a highlight for me.

Bob, the owner is extremely knowledgeable about birds, migration, local habitats, and history. He goes out of his way to make it a worthwhile experience.

This was a great opportunity to see birds that are difficult to see by land. We saw American oystercatchers, osprey, three species of heron, three species of terns, three species of gulls, willets, and probably others that I am forgetting. The boat allowed a close approach and allowed for good photography. The naturalist on board was very informative and helpful.
