We have gone out with Cape May Whale Watcher around 10 times over the years and they always do a great job. Very enjoyable for adults, young children and teens. This is a very nice family owned business that really cares about the ocean and their guests. the tour includes lots of local history, it is very informative. I highly recommend this adventure, don't take your kids to the shore without taking this cruise.

I went on the 5 hour Lighthouse Tour scheduled for October 15th. What an absolute wonderful cruise!!! It was so informative and Captain Jeff was the best tour guide ever! The food was great and the other tourists on the boat were so friendly. The crew was great too! I went on this same tour many years ago and was impressed then too. I would highly recommend Captain Jeff and his crew to anyone who wants to go on the dolphin or whale watching or lighthouse cruise. We even came back to the dock a little late due to unexpectedly watching a humpback whale swimming around the inlet. AWESOME!!!!! We had such an enjoyable time on the boat. (By the way, as I was reading previous reviews, I saw one that was titled "Horrible.....etc". I actually stood in line behind this group of people while they were arguing with the girl at the window. They were pretty rude to the girl, and actually started talking about hiring a lawyer about this groupon thing. Really????? If they had decided to go on the lighthouse cruise scheduled for that day, their family would have had a fun time AND would have witnessed a wonderful sight with seeing the humpback whale).

I've only been on the Whale Watcher twice, but since moving to Cape May County earlier this year, I could go every day. Just wish I had the time to :) Unlike so many things that people waste their money on during their vacations, a trip on the Whale Watcher is worth every dime. You get a pleasant ride on an immaculately clean boat, which also offers reasonably priced food and drink (no Disneyland prices here), plus you may get to see a whale or dolphins or, as I did once, a ginormous sea turtle. What's amazing is that if you don't see a whale or dolphins, they will give you a voucher (I think it's a voucher) for a future trip. I don't get the posts saying that anyone involved was rude. If you treat the people working on the boat the way you want to be treated, I can't imagine anyone having a problem. But maybe, that's just me.
