This past weekend, we once again had the pleasure of taking the 2 hour Dolphin Watching trip. This boat experience in the sunshine(!) was the highlight of an otherwise rainy, windy weekend. If we didnā€™t have this to look forward to on Sunday, we would have gone home on Saturday. We were thrilled to see lots of dolphins! This was our third trip with the Cape May Whale Watcher crew and we highly recommend it! We are very happy while out on the sea and always impressed with their crew. Weā€™ve gone out on one of the other boats in the area and were disappointed with that experience. I LOVE that Captain Jeff is a strong supporter of keeping dolphins and whales living free and out of captivity. Itā€™s an important message that needs to be given to people who would never give it a second thought. Hopefully it will encourage people to support The Dolphin Project and avoid supporting businesses that force these amazing animals to live in captivity performing circus stunts to amuse humans. We will be back again next year!

My husband and I went on the 1pm Whale Watch tour on 9/20/2016. It was an amazing 3 hours!!! We saw numerous dolphins and further out had the blessed timing to see a humpback whale close up -- breaching the surface 11 times, slamming his tail down, and clearing his blow hole before coming to the surface. The staff gave commentary of all the sites and surroundings on the way out and back. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Would HIGHLY recommend this attraction to anyone in the area. Very, Very worth the time and money. We got a discount because we bought the tickets in advance online. So easy to transact with their staff. Woo Hoo! Carol and Bob (newlyweds married on the beach in Cape May in the rain on 9/19/16).

We went on the 10am whale and dolphin watching cruise last Sunday, two adults and two children. They do a great job, heading out the inlet and out to sea and then coming in past the lighthouse into Delaware Bay and then back to where we started in the Cape May canal. On the day we went we happened to see a ton of dolphins but no whales. We still had a great time and learned a lot and I recommend it as a fun outing for both kids and grown-ups.
