I found a Groupon for this excursion and decided it would be a fun way to spend the day with my mom, two aunts, and daughter (3 years old). We got to see dolphins and whales, and my daughter was very excited, so all-in-all, I guess it was a successful trip. I was a little annoyed with a crew member who kept telling my daughter she couldn't sit here, or stand there, or do this, or do that. 3 hours is a long time for a child that young to sit still on a bench. I realize safety is important, but there were some instances where I was holding on to her, and was told "it wasn't safe". I am 7 months pregnant, and I was allowed to hold her at the railing of the boat, but could not let her stand on the bench (away from the water) with my arms around her? Carrying her and holding her for long periods of time are difficult when you're 7 months pregnant. But I did the best I could to make sure she was happy. I have been on many boats (dolphin/whale watching, fishing trips, private, etc) and never felt so restricted. The food prices on the boat were also very overpriced, in my opinion. Overall, I'm glad my daughter got to see some dolphins and whales, but I would not go on this trip again. At least not with a child so young.

This is the second time we've taken the morning dolphin cruise and it was great! We saw tons of dolphins, some swimming alongside the boat and others leaping in the air. It's a very informative cruise about dolphins and other sea life, plus other tidbits about Cape May. The crew are always nice. It's a great way to enjoy the beauty of Cape May, enjoy the sunshine and see the awesome dolphins!!

We chose this title because we learned a lot about life in the atlantic, especially dolphins and hunchback whales. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable. The trip is part of a research effort to track and identify dolphins and whales to ensure their well being and learn more about their migration. We also learned about their habitat, and policies to ensure safe whale watching. Crew was very responsive to questions and really wanted to make sure we had a good experience on board. Boat was clean, well maintained. We saw lots of dolphins and followed a hunchback whale; we could see his big fluke which was breath-taking. It was terrific to experience the animals in their habitat, very different from any aquarium experience. Would definitely do this excursion again.
