We booked the 3 hour cruise about the dolphin and whale watching cruise. I attended with my 3 boys ages 10, 12, and 13 so we had kids from big kids to teens. The cruise and staff were pleasant. We did get great views of some dolphins and whales. There were a few disappointing details. The best views of the dolphins and whales always seemed to be straight ahead. This is where crowds tended to gather and those in the back and sides did not have a great view. On different cruises, captains would turn the ship in a slow circle so that all guests could benefit from a great vantage point. Our captain did not do this. Additionally the front area of the ship has an open grate where you can see through to the water. Initially, we thought this was a great spot to sit and see dolphins. Unfortunately, nearly everyone in that area got soaked repeatedly from all directions. We were not warned about that at all. I would not have minded the occasional splash but to still be soaked at the end of a 3 hour cruise was disappointing. Again, no warnings or signage reflected the degree to which we would get wet. I would not recommend this to families with children or teens who easily get bored. Unlike some dolphin cruises where you spend the majority of the time doing the searching for dolphins I felt like we spent most of our time getting to where our captain hoped the dolphins would be. My children felt very bored by this cruise. If taking this cruise I'd recommend bringing an activity for kids to do while they wait for the action. I'd also recommend wearing swimwear or quick-drying clothing.

Had a great time on the 2 hour dolphin cruise. Saw tons of dolphins. The captain was very knowledgeable about the area and about dolphins. We even saw a bald eagle. Check out their website for deals. They also donā€™t charge for under 6 years old and some of the others start charging at 3 years old. Great time and great captain and crew. You feel like youā€™re supporting a local family business.

Booked at the last minute as decided to take a day off and go to Cape May (about an hour from where we live). Found this online and decided to book the sunset dolphin watch. The entire experience was very good, from the crew to the boat. And based on favorable conditions, we must have seen 100+ dolphins including many newborns. My 9yo son was extremely pleased with this! Drinks (including beer wine etc) are available for purchase, which is a nice touch to relax with the beautiful sunset. A couple of minor quibbles, nothing major: Pizza / hot dogs included, but line was crazy long - something to improve Plastic straws - my elder daughter (who missed the cruise, but is an Environmental Scientist) is always reminding us about plastic straws and marine life.....and given that the idea behind the cruise is to appreciate marine life, I suggest that they should seek more marine safe and biodegradable options. Would recommend and would repeat.
