Hoonah

During you tour you well see all kinds of Sea life from Humpback Whales, Sea Loins, Sea, Sea otter, sometimes Killer Whales and bears walking on the beach.

Wow! What an amazing experience! After our tour was cancelled by the large excursion company, we were feeling a little bummed and decided to head into Hoonah to look for another option. We found this small company and Angie at the front desk made our dreams come true! Within 5 mins of meeting her she called captain Billy and took our family of 6 on the most incredible whale watching cruise of our life! Billy is awesome, he knew exactly where to go! He could spot the whales at every point and even spotted a bear on land. We ran into a mother and her calf and the calf was right next to our boat! Billy and Angie were fantastic and really personalized our intimate experience. I highly recommend using this company and avoiding the large excursion company off the dock. It was beyond worth it! Thank you Angie and Billy for a lifelong memory!

Captain Bill was very nice and knowledgeable. Disappointed that we did not see many whales. Disappointed rates were $100 more Per person vs using hoonah travel adventures which is as $100 per person less as a walk up reservation on the same type boat and same amount of time.

Went out with Captain Billy and Alaska Photo Excursions on Monday Aug 30. What an amazing experience, numerous opportunities to observe humpback whale bubble net feeding. Captain Billy is an excellent guide and a great person. Best whale watching trip ever! Highly recommend
