The thrill of watching whales and Dolphins from so close makes the tour worth every money you spend on tickets and gratuities. We saw almost 4 or 5 whales and hordes of Dolphins.

Did not get to see any whales which was my main desire. Overall the experience to be miles in ocean and to see dolphins in that atmosphere was breath taking my 1st experience. A nice boat ride. :)

The whale cruise with Davey's Locker from Balboa/Newport CA was very nice, despite some sea fog. Spotting some whales, including a humpback whale, was fantastic. On the way back from the 2 hour trip we also saw some California sea lions. The price we paid through TripAdvisor was a bargain. Definitely worth it.
