We didn't see any whales, but we did see lots of dolphins. Two different kinds. The guide was very knowledgable and we had a wonderful cruise.

Good that they were open and practicing safe COVID habits for the passengers. Crew was nice, boat clean. Good to get out into deep ocean for a few hours. However, no whales or other! We received a complimentary return ticket which is nice.

We enjoyed the Whale watching Excursion in Dana Point. The captain and marine biologist onboard were very knowledgeable and seemed to know when and where we might see whales. We saw 3 different types of whales and 2 sea lions. It was also fun just being on a little cruise in the middle of the day. The captain said that the his was the 1st cruise in awhile that did not get to see dolphins, which was sad. I wish I would have gotten some better photos.
