The staff in the office and on the boat were friendly and accommodating. They contacted us prior to our tour and even offered to upgrade it. The girls on our boat were very knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife in the area. We hoped to see more whales. We saw a pod of five orca whales from afar. We realize that orcas are harder to follow than humpback whales due to their speed and hunting patterns, but we felt like we whale chased rather than whale watched. This company tried hard to give us a memorable experience. It was a beautiful area and appreciate the staff on board our boat.

From beginning to end, San Juan Safaris took great care of us. The booking process was welcoming and easy, the boats were well maintained and our naturalist, Rachel, was knowledgeable and fun. We took the adventure tour and covered a lot of ground quickly. The suits were warm and clean. We saw beautiful orcas, bald eagles, sea lions, seals.... the list goes on and on. It was a wonderful morning that was fun and informative. I've done other whale watching tours and this one felt so well run and having a naturalist on board, rather than a sales person made a huge difference. Loved it!

Loved the staff! They were so knowledgeable and we found whales. Took our three month old and our nine year old grandchildren and it worked out great. Would do again.
