Great trip we saw five whales together then two more whales. The lady on the trip was very knowledgeable and knew each by name and gender. When the five got too close to the two others the two breached the water which is rare to see. It was explained this means the whales were stressed, So even though it was cool to see and we got it on video, it was kind of sad to hear that they are stressed instead of having fun. We also got to see them logging which was resting because whales never sleep. Again the lady explained that their breathing was voluntary versus involuntary like humans so they have to stay awake to breathe. Very much worth the time and money spent.

We had a wonderful time. The captain and crew were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make sure we got to see whales and dolphins! We definitely recommend Cape Ann Whale Watch to those looking for a fun adventure.
