Nice tour. Saw a whale, guaranteed. Chose to do this watch over others along the coast, better pricing and faster ship. (Check Groupon) Gloucester is well worth the visit. Tour was only offered at 10 am but that was fine. Get there at 9 to beat the crowds and get the best seats, upper deck. Wear sunscreen. Clean bathrooms. Nice staff.

I was expecting not to see whales but hopeful I would. We saw so many whales and some of them were so close to the boat.

Have done whale watching both in Alaska and Cabo, Mexico. While always worth doing, this experience outof Gloucester was by far the most amazing. Constantly surrounded by humpback groupings (not pods), doing bubble netting. Unlike other locations, the boat is able to coming within feet of the whales. Almost an hour spent observing. Boat had 2 apprenticed naturalists providing info. Plus a 30 veteran providing more. Was tempted to do it again but our time ran out.
