We had a great excursion and saw many humpback whales. It was amazing. The guides were very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. Some friends recommended this tour to us and Iā€™m so glad that they did. I also highly recommend Cape Ann Whale Watch.

This is a late review for our trip on Aug. 13, 2021 (The day when the crew spotted a sunfish). My girlfriend and I almost didn't make the trip due to traffic but luckily we got there right before 1:30pm and made it on the boat before departure. The vessel we boarded on was clean, nice, big, and spacious for a lot of people. The crew was very nice, enthusiastic, and they are all knowledgeable about the area, the waters, and the sea creatures that dwell on the surface, also very respectful of the marine life and the other private boaters in the area at the time. Tina was excellent guiding the passengers throughout the trip! She's so enthusiastic and her energy rubs off with everyone in a positive way. They told us our group wasn't a usual whale watching group so we were definitely glad we did not miss this trip! We got to see a lot of whales (it's adorable how they named them), a rare sunfish on its side, etc. The whales deep dove, pec-slapped, and we even got to see them breach twice even if we were far from them. Lastly the crew's enthusiasm about the marine life can be seen as the trip did not have a set amount of hours to be there in deeper parts of the ocean because when something happened they would just jump at the opportunity and that's a great thing! When our vessel was about to head back to port two whales surprised us on the side of the boat and said bye. Amazing crew, amazing vessel, amazing trip. Would recommend and would go again.

You won't be disappointed, this was a fascinating experience viewing the whales in the deep blue ocean. Bonus surprise with the Atlantic white belly dolphins jumping around all around us!
