As a way of entertaining a teenager as well as a 6 year old we booked this tour and we were very impressed. First of all, yes, we did see whales - three humpbacks. Two together and one solo. Each time we spotted a whale it captivated the entire boat. But the trip was enhanced by a number of other nice touches. We got a great tour of Gloucester harbor on the way out which was informative. We had a ton of education throughout the entire cruise that was relevant and quite interesting. There were people on deck walking around with additional items of interest, like whale teeth & baleen. Finally, the food and beverages on board exceeded expectations and allowed for some nice refreshments during down time. Thank you Cape Ann Whale Watch!

This was my 3rd time with CAWW and it was perfect as always. So many whales. We saw a lot of humpbacks AND a fin whale! It was amazing. The captain is awesome and he took over the speaker when we saw the fin whale to tell us. He was so excited. The interns they have are amazing and you can tell everyone is passionate about whales and respecting the ocean. I will go again.

Our trip was incredible! We were a group of 13 (9 adults and 4 kids) and everyone had such a great time. The ride out was so relaxing, just remember your sweatshirt because itā€™s always much cooler out on the water. We saw so much whale activity, I think the adults were going crazier for the whales than the kids! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable we all learned so much. Overall, this was such an amazing experience and we will definitely be returning!
