Love whiskey? Walking? Pittsburgh? This sounds like the tour for you! From the mill to the still, whiskey has been a cornerstone in Pittsburgh's history. Join this tour and discover how whiskey has fueled political, labor and social movements throughout the region. We start the tour with a sample of the longest continuously produced whiskey in America. As we walk the streets of Downtown, you'll learn about the violent Whiskey Rebellion, hidden former (as well as existing!) speakeasies around the city, how Prohibition affected the region, and all about the revival of craft spirits. Get 4 additional and generously poured samples of whiskey as well.
**Please note: This is NOT a bar crawl but a whiskey history tour with tastings. Adults 21+ only; children + dogs are welcome to join; approx. 1 mile of walking

Our guide Aaron was engaging, funny, and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the Whiskey Rebellion, the Labor Movement, and Prohibition, all through the lens of a whiskey glass. Local history was highlighted and the two hours flew by. Anyone visiting the 'Burgh and those who live here should take this tour! It was a great way for us to celebrate Father's Day!

Fun and informative tour of Pittsburgh with a different perspective! Our tour guide Aaron is engaging, and funny, and obviously loves the history of Pittsburgh (and whiskey!) Loved the stop at the Speak Easy at the Wm Penn Hotel. A wonderful way to experience this hidden gem of a city!
