Love whiskey? Walking? Pittsburgh? This sounds like the tour for you! From the mill to the still, whiskey has been a cornerstone in Pittsburgh's history. Join this tour and discover how whiskey has fueled political, labor and social movements throughout the region. We start the tour with a sample of the longest continuously produced whiskey in America. As we walk the streets of Downtown, you'll learn about the violent Whiskey Rebellion, hidden former (as well as existing!) speakeasies around the city, how Prohibition affected the region, and all about the revival of craft spirits. Get 4 additional and generously poured samples of whiskey as well.
**Please note: This is NOT a bar crawl but a whiskey history tour with tastings. Adults 21+ only; children + dogs are welcome to join; approx. 1 mile of walking

I would have given this 15 stars if I could! Aaron was great! The tour was informative and very interesting. The whiskey...delish.

It’s a wonderful walk featuring Aaron’s interesting stories about Pitts history about whisky and all the beautiful buildings in downtown. The weather was a little chill, but Aaron was very thoughtful, he prepared some hand warmers for us and some hot cider & tea with whisky. It’s definitely worth it and we learned a lot as first-time visitors to Pitts. He also recommended some good original Pitts restaurants. We tried Square cafe and Primanti Bros, and they were so gooood!

Aaron was fantastic. We learned some Pittsburgh history and saw some cool buildings, and he did a great job of tying that into events in history to hiw that relates to whIsley, both past and present. You get some neat samples at the end, which is a bonus, but this is really a history tour and how it relates to whiskey
