White Pass is better by van than by train! Why? Because you get to get out, hike, plenty of time for stories, questions and photo ops. John, our van guide, was our favorite tour guide during our entire Alaska adventure (including 1 tour in Ketchikan and 2 tours in Juneau). John was lively and informative. Highly recommend!

High value for the money. Our guide, Derek, was very personable and did a great job giving us a history of the area and the relationship of the geography. The only negative was it was a hot day and we were full in a short bus. My wife has claustrophobia and it really got to her.

We do our best to provide a safe and fun tour for all, at times we do come a crossed special cases such as your wife that need special handling (front window seat) may have really helped. When you come back please call a head of time and I will do all in my power to make sure that you have a pleasurable tour.

We enjoyed the scenery, but did not see much wildlife. We did get to get out and see waterfalls, old time burial ground, lots of history. We went into the Yukon. Very enjoyable.
