I loved this train ride the scenery was beautiful. You are able to stand outside, if youā€™d like or stay inside. Their seat 4 with a table between you. There is a restroom in each car. The conductor does narrate. You will need passports, because it ends in Canada. We took a one way since we were in route to the Yukon. We all enjoyed the ride. You do go through two tunnels.

We selected the train/bus tour out of skagway, AK By having both the train and bus portion of the trip, you get to see the area from two different views and speeds. Train ride is slow at times and move a little faster when conditions allow. Many types of wildlife are often see from the train cars. Each car has a restroom for passengers use during the trip. Have your passport ready to show the border officers and do not try to get a pic of them.

Picked up on time and the full 3 hours was packed with information and stories from our driver Joe who knew everything there was to know about the area. A very interesting man who kept us entertained throughout. I would highly recommend this tour.
