We found this tour by exploring downtown Skagway and coming across an excursion desk in the back of the popcorn store. That excursion company had sent their tours out for the day so they booked us with this company and we were not disappointed. Jack was our driver and he was very knowledgeable and told us all about the history of Skagway and brought us over the Klondike highway. We could get out and take pictures. The highway runs parallel to the White Pass Railroad for the most part so we felt like we had the same experience we would have had by taking the railroad excursion except we paid half the price. We would recommend to anyone.

We booked this before leaving home. They would pick up at the ship but we walked to the tour office, as the information said to contact them 48 hours before (not easy) when cruising. It all worked out. We had a 3 hour city tour and summit tour that included Historic down town, gold rush cemetery, city overlook, Azure glaziers, Alpine valley Dead horse gulch, waterfalls and 1 mile into Canada (take your passport) The guide was amazing. Said just say if you want me to stop and take any pictures. Knew his stuff, very knowledgeable
