What To Expect

Skagway Alaska Downtown

Meet your guide, board the comfortable vehicle and enjoy a short tour of Skagway’s historic district before climbing steeply towards the Chilkoot Mountains.

British Columbia

The dramatic scenery of the White Pass summit soon surrounds you. This is a wonderland of impressive peaks, azure lakes and stunted forests. The pace is unhurried; you will have ample time to enjoy the view with stops at choice scenic locations.

Yukon Suspension Bridge

Past the summit visit the Yukon Suspension Bridge, where you can venture out onto the bridge to get stunning views of the turbulent waters of the Tutshi River below. Learn the about Gold Rush history and the natural history of the area. Walk along the boardwalk and immerse yourself in the miniature world of alpine wildflowers.

We are so excited to have taken this tour! Nikki, our tour guide, was excellent, and stopped at many beautiful sites along the way to take pictures,and kept an eye out for wildlife. She was very patient, unrushed and informative, and a lot of fun. The area around the suspension bridge was amazing and we were able to take time to cross the bridge and take many photos. We truly felt like a good friend was taking us on the tour and would strongly recommend skipping the train and letting Nikki make some wonderful memories for you .

Thanks so much for this great review of our tour and your time with Nikki. The Yukon Suspension Bridge is a great destination. They way it is set up, you get a chance to wander at your leisure and soak it all in. The boardwalk is raised above the tundra so that you can see and enjoy the micro-environment and the wildflowers without trampling them. That is so great to hear that you felt like a good friend was taking you out on tour. Our goal is to make connections, and it sounds like Nikki really hit the mark!

Our guide, Pat, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. We made frequent stops on this mini-bus tour and got great pictures. Bob from Texas

So glad to hear that you enjoyed your time with Pat. I'm glad you mentioned our mini-bus. We have a number of Ford Transit vans that we use for our tours in Skagway. They hold 12 guests maximum and are comfortable and safe.

The Yukon Suspension Bridge tour was a great addition to our stop in Skagway. Pat was a wonderful guide/host. He provided lots of “extras” pointing out water falls, glaciers, rivers, mountains, and wildlife. I would recommend this excursion. A huge thanks to Pat! 🙌🏼
