A wonderful experience. Just the train ride was enough for me but then we got to spend time in Virginia City to do shopping and have lunch. My wife and daughter had a ball shopping at the small stores. It was well worth the price of the trip just for one of these experiences. I only wish we had a few more hours in Virginia City to see some of the historical monuments McCay ? House, Boot Hill, etc.. This was our third Viator booked event and they were all great.

This was a great way to visit Virginia City while in Lake Tahoe! The town itself was a bit crowded and full of souvenir shops, but there are plenty of things to do during your brief stopover. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.
