Our first guide was a sweet girl from Washington (maybe Mia or Lara?) that gave us an information session on the dogs and the Iditarod. We were able to tour the kennels and meet the musher (Sybil) and pups that took us on a wilderness cart/sled ride. Sybil was informative and so kind! She was a great guide!! The dogs took us through scenic forest trails and we took a short break by a river for a cool drink for the dogs/photo/informational session. When we arrived back to the kennels, we were shown the husky puppies and were able to hold/play with them! Definitely a one of a kind experience! Very cool to go on a sled dog tour, even in the summer!!!

I recently visited Alaska and visited Seavy's dog sled ride and tour in Seward. It was so evident that the dogs are treated well and genuinely were excited to be out running during the off-season. We noticed a few dogs that jumped in place when we were stalled because they were just so excited! It was very cute. After the tour, we were able to meet some of the dogs and even got to bond with some of the puppies. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. I would recommend this tour to others visiting the area.

Tour guides are friendly and involved with conversations. It was a fun memory for families. To see dogs and such a cool sport was amazing! The puppies are adorable!
