Without a car there are only so few options to get ouf of the city and to do something. This excursion pretty much defined my Anchorage experience. The views were great (despite the light rain we got) and the stop at the wilderness park was good. It was where we spent most of the time, 1h. The glaciers you only see from a distance, whether you sit in the car or not. There were many stops per se, but not all worth mentioning. The walk in the rainforest was a 5min opportunity to stretch your legs. It is such a short walk that it doesn't even deserve to be mentioned on the excursion title. What you are basically paying for is transportation and good narration. I liked our guide (although I can't remember his name). He was nice, polite, knowledgeable and he had that kind of a somewhat sarcastic humour that I prefer. So, afterall a better visit to Anchorage than I thought the day before.

Our tour guide, Gary, was phenomenal! He was very witty and knowledgeable about the area. This was our first time in Alaska and Gary went above and beyond to provide us with an amazing experience.

It was a fun experience. Our tour guide Chris was pretty cool, I got to use his binoculars to look at the doll sheeps.
