Wildlife and Whale Watching Excursion.

Overview

We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

The guides on the tour were wonderful, friendly and personable. I was contacted the night before to change my tour time since I was the only one, which I appreciated the advance notice on. I had nothing else going on that day, so it all worked! They even sent a driver to pick me up in a marked van. The whales said no today, but I have whale watched in many different states and that's the way it goes sometimes. It was still a beautiful day on the water with great conversation and many bald eagles (including a mated pair, they mate for life) and harbor seals! And I don't know WHAT those snacks were, but I'm so glad they don't have them where I'm from because I would go broke buying boxes and boxes of them. I would definitely do this tour again, as the lack of whales was not for lack of trying and not in any way the company's fault.

Whale watching was awesome! We followed this family of orcas for about an hour, saw some sea lions, and had a great view of the beautiful alaskan coastline which was just amazing! Crew was really nice and cool and they had a bunch of snacks on board which was also a nice touch. 10/10 would recommend!

We couldn't have had a better time on our trip!!! We joined a large group of friends to take an evening excursion to go whale and wildlife watching. The friendly, inviting, and knowledgeable service provided by the captain and crew was second to none. When we come back to Ketchikan we will be sure to include another excursion with Eagle One!
