Wildlife and Whale Watching Excursion.

Overview

We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

Captain Jesse took us on the trip of a lifetime! We saw Orcas, humpbacks, seals, eagles, and more!!!! He is an experienced captain who provides a safe and extremely comfortable trip while entertaining you! You can’t ask for better. The whole family can enjoy this excursion! The vessel is well outfitted and very comfortable for everyone. This company truly goes above and beyond. If I could give it ten stars I would!

Jesse provided us an incredible experience on our trip here in Ketchikan! He picked us up from our lodge and took us back when we were finished! The boat was perfect for what we needed and he provided coffee, water, and snacks. He really worked hard to make sure our experience was a lasting memory! We saw eagles and took a brief pause for Jesse to throw herring in for them to swoop down! After, we saw seals and then...orcas!! We followed a pack of 10-12 orcas for awhile and it was an amazing experience! We started to head back to town and there it was, the humpback! Jesse paused for us and even rescheduled his plans so that we could linger and get good shots of the humpback! I highly recommend Eagle One as one of your stops in Ketchikan!!

This was the highlight of our trip to Ketchikan. We enjoyed the hospitality of Captain Jessie who is a local entrepreneur, seasoned seaman and just a nice guy. His very comfortable boat (snacks and coffee included!!) has inside and outside seating. It was super convenient to the Norwegian Joy (where we were told there was no whale watching). Not true. It was a lovely day and we saw 5 or 6 humpback whales despite questionable weather. Much better value than cruise excursion and more personal experience.
