Wildlife and Whale Watching Excursion.

Overview

We are family owned and operated as well as locally owned and operated. We are constantly in touch with tour operators to know exactly where the best places to see local wildlife. We do not GUARANTEE Whales or wildlife on our tours but, this is our hometown, we know our waters, you can feel confident traveling with us. Our vessel has indoor seating and outdoor covered seating space. You can walk all around on the deck. We offer a complimentary nonalcoholic beverage service, and light snacks. We have a washroom facility onboard. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the best wildlife viewing opportunities here in Ketchikan. Our vessel is Wheelchair accessible! Tour is usually 2 to 2.5 hours in duration Please understand we do not Guarantee Whales or offer refunds for not seeing them but we will try our best to keep our 90% sighting rate for this season going!!!

This tour was hands down our favorite whale watching and wildlife viewing experience that we had while we were in Alaska. Captain Jesse knows the waters and is a delight. We had a mix up on our end (failure of reading), and Eagle One could not have been more helpful getting us on the right path.

Before our NCL Alaska Cruise, my wife and I booked a tour directly through Eagle One Enterprises, LLC and Melanie was extremely helpful and cheerful. This is a family-owned business, and they were amazing and cheerful during the meet and greet at their designated spot. We were promptly escorted to the boat by Kaylee, the deckhand as she provided commentary on the tour. This is a small operation (with no large cruise ship crowds) and there was tons of room on the well-maintained vessel. Captain Jesse is the Captain, Guide, knowledgeable wildlife expert, storyteller, and owner of the business. Once onboard, Kaylee and Capt. Jesse provided everything we needed including binoculars, blankets, tea, coffee, water, and snacks. Jesse briefed us on boat safety, made us feel at home on his vessel, and outlined the tour. The wildlife we got to see was amazing. Capt. Jesse immediately located whales, and we were lucky enough to view several humpback whales over the course of an hour or two. Then he showed us at least a dozen Bald eagles, nesting eagles, sea lions, more eagles, more whales, and although we looked hard we did not see any bears on the shoreline. The day was nice and sunny and it was a wonderful boat ride all around the bays while viewing wildlife everywhere. This was the highlight of our cruise and the information and tour we received from Captain Jesse and Kaylee was fantastic. The entire time Capt. Jesse was either speaking on his microphone or leaning out from the helm to describe the area, waters, Alaska life, and wildlife. We highly recommend this trip and of course this crew. This tour is a must-do in Ketchikan and you won’t be disappointed!

Great trip - I saw Orcas, humpbacks, eagles and harbor seals. The Captain and crew were wonderful and knew the right spots to ensure fabulous views and sightings.
