Willamette Valley
The Willamette Valley wine region, once known for its fruit orchards and nurseries, has become one of the United States' premier producers of cool-climate varietals like pinot noir. Start your wine country tour with hotel pickup from downtown Portland, and make your way by Mercedes Sprinter Van to three wineries carefully chosen by us. Portland is the perfect hub for exploring quiet backcountry roads through Oregon’s wine country, with more than half of the state’s 500 or so wineries located about 45 minutes away in the nearby Willamette Valley taking in beautiful vistas of gently rolling hills that give way to the expansive valley with views the Cascade Mountains. At each winery, taste a select group of varietals that will please even the most discerning palate, from reds like Pinot Noir Cabernet Franc to award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Riesling & more. ITINERARY Wineries visited in this region may vary based on day of the week and winery availability.

We did a wine tour just for fhn but none of us really drink wine like that. Adam was a great guide and was really knowledgeable about Portland and the overall state. We visited MONTINORE estate, blizzard, and Ardiri winery. MONTINORE was beautiful and had a great selection. The blizzard was by far everyone’s favorite and had this great 2017 reserve carmenere. Our guide Mary at blizzard was such a sweetheart and definitely made the trip. Ardiri wasn’t that great and didn’t have any researched seating for our group when we arrived the way the other two did. Overall was a great trip but could have passed on Ardiri.

We visited three wineries on this tour. Erath was a great place to start because the host spent a lot of time educating us and answering questions. Colene Clemens was beautiful - the scenery and the house. Then Roco had amazing wines. The sparkling wine was incredible. Aaron the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was a great way to experience Willamette valley wines. Thank you!

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. He was able to tell us so much about the wineries we visited, the history of the area, and the science and art behind the wine making process.
