Start your wine country tour with hotel pickup from downtown Portland, and make your way by Mercedes Sprinter Van to three wineries carefully chosen by us. Portland is the perfect hub for exploring quiet backcountry roads through Oregon’s wine country, with more than half of the state’s 500 or so wineries located about 45 minutes away in the nearby Willamette Valley taking in beautiful vistas of gently rolling hills that give way to the expansive valley with views the Cascade Mountains. At each winery, taste a select group of varietals that will please even the most discerning palate, from reds like Pinot Noir Cabernet Franc to award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Riesling & more. Adam, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The views were spectacular, and the Mercedes limo was very comfortable. We received personalized attention and generous pours at the wineries..all decorated for the holidays.The wine produced at these boutique vineyards was delicious, and they packed a box to fly home with us. This will be a treasured memory.

Our tour guide for the day, Aaron, did a great job. From start to finish the trip was a blast. There were ten in our group. Although there were three sets of strangers, we mixed well which also helped make the day. At each of the three vineyard we visited the hosts were welcoming and knowledgeable. In addition to being an excellent chauffeur, Aaron also knows his stuff when it comes to wine. This added to the experience. The wine at all three vineyards was good. Our favorite though was as Blizzard. Although we were in the Willamette valley, the winemaker took grapes from Washington and created something special.
