Start your wine country tour with hotel pickup from downtown Portland, and make your way by Mercedes Sprinter Van to three wineries carefully chosen by us. Portland is the perfect hub for exploring quiet backcountry roads through Oregon’s wine country, with more than half of the state’s 500 or so wineries located about 45 minutes away in the nearby Willamette Valley taking in beautiful vistas of gently rolling hills that give way to the expansive valley with views the Cascade Mountains. At each winery, taste a select group of varietals that will please even the most discerning palate, from reds like Pinot Noir Cabernet Franc to award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Riesling & more. This was easily our favorite part of our trip to Portland. Easy hotel pickup/drop off in a comfortable leather-seated Mercedes van, great inside info on the wineries, and a knowledgeable, fun, and kind tour guide. I also did a lot of tour and price comparison, and this is definitely the best bang for your buck. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get a good taste of the Willamette Valley. Thank you, Niko!

Overall our experience was great. We were picked up right on time and everything functioned smoothly. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about local wine history. We went to three different wineries and each had a distinctive vibe. One offered more tastings than the others and we had a light cheese & cracker type snack at the second. We had time to have a glass at two of the stops. We had the option to buy bottles at each winery but didn’t feel any pressure to do so. We got back to the city a little later than expected due to traffic but overall it was a fun day.

The visit to the 3 vineyards was super. Small. Intimate. Great wine. Great stories. Evan was a terrific guide and driver. He made the afternoon very enjoyable and personal. I would definitely recommend.
