Start your wine country tour with hotel pickup from downtown Portland, and make your way by Mercedes Sprinter Van to three wineries carefully chosen by us. Portland is the perfect hub for exploring quiet backcountry roads through Oregon’s wine country, with more than half of the state’s 500 or so wineries located about 45 minutes away in the nearby Willamette Valley taking in beautiful vistas of gently rolling hills that give way to the expansive valley with views the Cascade Mountains. At each winery, taste a select group of varietals that will please even the most discerning palate, from reds like Pinot Noir Cabernet Franc to award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Riesling & more. We had Jeri as a tour guide! She was very well informed about everything we were tasting and had interesting stories to tell us about the wineries and the wines. She grabbed us a beautiful cheese plate at the final stop and noticed that we destroyed it. She checked if we needed another and gladly grabbed a second for us. The Wineries were fantastic but our fantastic guide was the real reason the day was so rewarding.

What a great price for a great tour! Marcus was so nice and knowledgeable. From the pick up at our hotel (So convenient) to the very clean and comfortable van, plus loved the smaller group instead of a large busload of people. We had a blast!

We had such a wonderful time wine tasting in the Willamette Valley. Our driver, Marcus, was fun, friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way for us. By the time the tour was over, we had made several new friends! Blizzard wine was exceptional. Don't miss it!
