Start your wine country tour with hotel pickup from downtown Portland, and make your way by Mercedes Sprinter Van to three wineries carefully chosen by us. Portland is the perfect hub for exploring quiet backcountry roads through Oregon’s wine country, with more than half of the state’s 500 or so wineries located about 45 minutes away in the nearby Willamette Valley taking in beautiful vistas of gently rolling hills that give way to the expansive valley with views the Cascade Mountains. At each winery, taste a select group of varietals that will please even the most discerning palate, from reds like Pinot Noir Cabernet Franc to award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Riesling & more. Our tour guide was Gunnar. He had the right pace and cadence for us. When he picked us up, he took the time to understand our personalities and what kinds of wines we liked. He took us to respective wineries from there. Upon arriving at each winery, our wine was ready to go. This is a reflection to his exceptionally time management and communication skills. We went to some of the most beautiful wineries in Oregon, including Fairsing which has the most beautiful view of Oregon! I highly recommend him and this tour.

Clem Ogilby was a wonderful, enthusiastic and knowledgable guide through the wine country. He provided us with information and took us into beautiful parts of the country as we traveled to 3 and 1 surprise one wineries. The wineries were non commercial and the hosts had great customer service skills. We really enjoyed it and will book another tour in the future. We were only 3 on this tour so it felt like a private tour as well.
