Start your wine country tour with hotel pickup from downtown Portland, and make your way by Mercedes Sprinter Van to three wineries carefully chosen by us. Portland is the perfect hub for exploring quiet backcountry roads through Oregon’s wine country, with more than half of the state’s 500 or so wineries located about 45 minutes away in the nearby Willamette Valley taking in beautiful vistas of gently rolling hills that give way to the expansive valley with views the Cascade Mountains. At each winery, taste a select group of varietals that will please even the most discerning palate, from reds like Pinot Noir Cabernet Franc to award-winning Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose, Riesling & more. Our tour guide Heather was absolutely amazing, very fun and informative. All the vineyards were incredible with great staff. Overall it was a great time and would recommend!

We had a wonderful day visiting three very different wineries. One was modern and new, one on an old farm and one that matched my taste preferences to a T. Our driver Dave picked us up at our Airbnb. He was very knowledgeable about the areas and the wines. We had a lovely lunch provided to us. The whole day catered to our tastes. Many of the wineries are off the beaten path and not easy to find. It was great to have a driver!
