Overview

This is an EXCLUSIVE tour at high-end designed SB tour consisting of a World Class wine tasting for the first hour consisting of listening to Santa Barbara ghost stories) and a free gift for a second traditional SBGT in the future.

You will meet your guide on the front steps of the old 836 Anacapa St. Santa Barbara Post office.

You will then be walked to either Frequency Winery, Au Bon Climat Winery or Silver Winery (depending on their availability which is wine advance booking of the first part of your tour ) where you will have an amazing wine tasting experience before beginning your SB outside ghost walking tour.

Every wine tour guest receives a FREE GIFT BAG and FREE GIFT FOR A 2ND REGULAR TOUR from Professor Julie.

The bag includes candy and protection package for future travel and a NON-TRANSFERABLE card of Saint Barbara to be used for a future FREE 6:00 PM traditional ghost tour (good for one year after booking this tour).

What To Expect

El Presidio de Santa Barbara State Historic Park

We will be entering the historic Presidio of Santa Barbara build during the Spanish area of downtown. The remaining remnant buildings such as the Chapel and El Chartel and their currently visiting ghosts or souls from the past will be discussed.

City Hall

The current City Hall of Santa Barbara is the site of one of the most brutal murders of the city in 1921, however the victim a sweet soul from Switzerland comes back when guests come to have you hear her story and protect you from any negativity.

Lobero Theatre

We will walk to the "most haunted" building in the State of California which is also the longest continually running theater in Alta California. You will hear amazing stories of the visiting ghosts which are experienced often by both locals and guests.

Casa de la Guerra

You will meet at Casa de la Guerra and we be taken into the historic El Paseo (Street in Spain) for one hour of wine tasting.

Unique experience with wine tasting vs the usual..our guide was very informative about Santa Barbara’s salacious past and the hauntings today.

This was a very disappointing experience. I did similar tours before in various states. This tour was “false advertisement”. We didn’t received “snacks or nibbles” as was advertised. We got Halloween candies. No wine tasting at all. Only one glass of wine from a bar (menu priced $10.00) The story telling was good at the beginning. After two stories the content shifted to personal stories.

This is not true. You received the full tour despite your showing up a day earlier than you had booked. I did not have to give you a tour (as I was giving another tour at the time) but I wanted to be kind to you and your group, especially when you said " We need to do it today, as I made a mistake and booked the wrong day." I was not notified by Trip Advisor until I returned home as a I was giving a tour when you contacted Trip Advisor to tried and change the day of your tour. You just showed up expecting a wine tour as the winery was closing. All wineries require reservations (which I had made for your group for the day you booked which was Sunday) and had to cancel immediately as they expected you as their guests and had a table set aside for your group. I graciously gave you the 1.5 hour tour and then I took you to Jimmy's (The Pickle Room known as the most haunted bar in Santa Barbara.) for a 15.00 a cocktail or glass of wine (tax and cost of drink). Every wine tasting or cocktail tour includes a ten dollar 10.00 tip per person not for me, but for the bartender and/or wine or cocktail serving staff. After showing up a day earlier than you booked for (as well as receiving a full ghost tour, a cocktail and the FREE gift bag) you tried to get a FULL REFUND telling Trip Advisor that you and your group never had a tour or alcoholic beverages. You should have reached out to me to discuss your issues and I would have given you a reasonable future solution. By the way, the gift bag was AGAIN, a free gift from me as the owner. Yes, your little bag was full of candies and cookies and it did have a special protection bag with antique spiritual contents within it...and all of the contents of the bag were FREE GIFTS from me. You were very inconsiderate of my other guests who came on the night they booked. These guests warmly welcomed your group folding into our existing ghost tour.
