Overview

This is an EXCLUSIVE tour at high-end designed SB tour consisting of a World Class wine tasting for the first hour consisting of listening to Santa Barbara ghost stories) and a free gift for a second traditional SBGT in the future.

You will meet your guide on the front steps of the old 836 Anacapa St. Santa Barbara Post office.

You will then be walked to either Frequency Winery, Au Bon Climat Winery or Silver Winery (depending on their availability. Wineries require advance bookings. You will have this booking met during of the first part of your tour ) You will have an amazing wine tasting experience before beginning your SB outside ghost walking tour.

Free gift bag includes candy and protection package for future travel.

We do not "summon the dead." Our visiting ghosts do pop by occasionally to surprise you!

What To Expect

El Presidio de Santa Barbara State Historic Park

We will be entering the historic Presidio of Santa Barbara build during the Spanish area of downtown. The remaining remnant buildings such as the Chapel and El Chartel and their currently visiting ghosts or souls from the past will be discussed.

Lobero Theatre

We will walk to the "most haunted" building in the State of California which is also the longest continually running theater in Alta California. You will hear amazing stories of the visiting ghosts which are experienced often by both locals and guests.

Casa de la Guerra

You will meet at Casa de la Guerra and we be taken into the historic El Paseo (Street in Spain) for one hour of wine tasting.

Santa Barbara

We visit the famous sights of silent movie stars before Hollywood existed.

WOW! What an amazing experience! I've been on over 50 or so ghost tours all around the world, and I have to say, Paranormal Pairing with Professor Julie has to be one of the best I've ever experienced. Firstly, Julie is incredibly personable, knowledgable, and has such a warm energy. During our wine tasting, she got to know us as well as shared her story with the paranormal, and then began to share the history of Santa Barbara and some of the places we'd get to visit. After learning a bit about mine and my partner's backgrounds and experiences (we're both actors), she tailored our tour to what she thought we'd really enjoy. I've never had a tour guide take such an interest in their guests, and it truly made for a top tier experience. She was able to answer all our questions about the different locations and stories so easily, and you could tell that she's not only well educated on the history of Santa Barbara, but that she really loves this town. She also seems to be a bit of a town celebrity - so many restaurant and shop owners knew her and waved to us as we walked, and it made me feel happy to know that we were getting the real local perspective on this town. I should probably also mention the wine - absolutely delicious! We bought a bottle, and I can't wait to crack it open! I also have to note, as someone who is very much a paranormal enthusiast, I appreciated her focus on safety and protection when exploring the stories in a town full of ghosts. I can confirm that no ghosts came home with us! :) If you're into history, ghosts, or just want a really lovely evening exploring one of the most beautiful towns I've ever seen, this is the tour for you. Julie is an exceptional guide, and I am looking forward to taking another tour with her very soon!

Wow! I'm blown away. I'd never been on a ghost tour before but my partner has been on many. Both of us were completely enamored with Julie and her Paranormal Pairings tour. The winery chosen offered incredible wines (I even walked away with a bottle), but more remarkable was Julie's vast knowledge of Santa Barbara's spectral history and, perhaps more importantly, her immense generosity of spirit. The wealth of information she had seemed boundless as we walked the beautiful downtown area at night. She's very clearly been accepted and embraced by the local business owners - everywhere we went we were greeted and waved at by countless people who know and appreciate her work. That, paired with the fantastic "friendly" ghost stories and the great wine created an atmosphere that I'd challenge any spiritual guide to compete with. I cannot recommend her tour enough - I have a feeling it's absolutely ruined me for other ghost tours in the future. I'll certainly be coming back with my friends and family. Thank you, Julie!
