Overview
Join us for a guided winter experience in our 3-row Subaru Ascent through the Rocky Mountain National Park on a 4 - 5 hour tour that is focused entirely on your party. On our tour, we'll see a waterfall (frozen during our snowy months), we'll drive up the famous Trail Ridge Road as far as it is opened for the season, if conditions allow, walk around a frozen Bear Lake or Sprague Lake, and you'll also visit the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at the end of your tour. Minimum of 2 guests.

*Micro spikes will be used instead of snowshoes and are included for your tour to keep you safe while walking on icy surfaces.

We are only able to offer hotel pickup for guests in Estes Park or the small surrounding towns. If you're not staying near Estes Park, we can meet you at the free parking garage for the Estes Park Visitor Center for pickup.

What To Expect
1
Rocky Mountain National Park
Our winter tour, starting in Estes Park, is all about taking a beautiful drive into the snow-covered Rocky Mountain National Park with a small snow / icy hike around Bear Lake (if conditions allow). We'll take you as high up Trail Ridge Road as the weather allows. You'll see frozen lakes, beautiful meadows, and wildlife. Your entrance into the Rocky Mountain National Park is included!
2
Alluvial Fan
The second stop on your guided tour is the beautiful frozen Alluvial Fan waterfall. Your driver will give you the interesting history of this geological feature.
3
Trail Ridge Road
During the winter months, the famous Trail Ridge Road is usually closed past Many Parks Curve, but your driver will take you as far up the road as possible to see parts of the National Park from above.
4
Sprague Lake
If conditions do not allow for snowshoeing at Bear Lake, your guide will instead take you to snowshoe around the equally beautiful Sprague Lake.
5
Bear Lake
If conditions allow, the main destination of your guided tour is the popular Bear Lake. This beautiful area is much more peaceful during the winter off-season months. Your guide will snowshoe with you around a frozen Bear Lake, where there are many beautiful photo spots.
6
Beaver Meadows Visitor Center
At the end of your guided tour, you'll make a stop at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center to purchase souvenirs and get your National Park Passport stamped!

The background stories of the people who have been instrumental in the park's history are intertwined with the spectacular views and knowledgeable natural history of the park in an interesting and entertaining way.

This was an amazing tour through the beautiful RMNP. As our first time in Colorado, we were eager to explore and see the beautiful winter scenery (we were visiting from FL so you donā€™t get this kind of scenery there). Riley was an incredible tour guide and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. From the super comfortable car ride to his knowledge of natural wildlife and plant species, to park history and stories. Riley did outstanding with everything and he lets you set your own pace throughout the tour! And we got to see a moose for the first time (from a safe distance of course). Riley keeps his guests safety in mind as they observe the local wildlife from a safe viewing distance. I highly recommend Riley and this tour. He made our first visit to Colorado & RMNP a wonderful experience!

Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words Justin! I'm happy I could make your first trip to Colorado a memorable one! I spend a lot of time researching history as well as the flora and fauna for my tours, so I really appreciate you mentioning that! Riley
