What To Expect

The Wizard of Oz Museum

Dolls, Comics, toys, maps, original props and costumes, collectible figurines, posters, and fine first editions (including the earliest recorded copy of the book, THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ from 1900 are just some of the treasures waiting to be experienced – with plenty of surprises (and photo ops!) along the way.

This is a hidden gem. Not sure what to expect and am so glad I took the chance and went. If you love the wizard of oz you will love this museum. Definitely worth the admission price.

This was a unique and interesting stop. Loved the whole history of the Oz books. The immersive experience was also great. May not interest small children but we found it fascinating.

We had small children as 2 years old enjoying the museum visit. it really depends if the children are familiar with the story and had been dressed up as one of the Wizard of Oz characters in the past.

We thoroughly enjoyed our impromptu visit to the Wizard of Oz Museum. It caught our eye when driving by and we decided to check it out. We were very pleased we did! The host was both knowledgeable and delightful! We appreciated his enthusiasm for the museum's offerings. The wide variety of artifacts were artfully displayed and very well organized, and we learned so much from the informative QR code narrations--we highly recommend taking the time to listen to those. The immersive room was an added bonus. It was visually appealing and soothing. We especially enjoyed the Van Gogh portion of the immersive video. We would recommend this tour to both casual Wizard of Oz fans and enthusiasts alike.
