our raft guide Stephen was amazing!! we had some previous rafting experience but this journey is definitely a good one for first time rafters as well

I've rafted with several companies in TN and NC, and River Rat has been by far the best. We took out the smaller Xtreme raft (holds 4+ the guide) and it was amazing! Much more fun and responsive than the regular larger size rafts. Our guide, Polly, was fantastic. She lead us expertly through the rapids and helped us customize the experience to be a adventurous as we felt comfortable. I highly recommend River Rat.

Wow unforgettable experience! Hunter was beyond fabulous. He was friendly, informative, and very in tune with our comfort level given we were beginners. (we booked extreme for our first time for extra fun) After the first set of rapids, we became much more comfortable and confident, and Hunter kicked it up a notch! It was an absolute blast. Hunter gave us a wonderful time while still making us feel safe. While chatting about numerous things, he also mentioned that he loved his job. Love hearing that. There’s a huge difference between just having a tour guide and having someone that’s also having fun with you! He’s phenomenal and I hope they give him a raise.
