You’ll capture the endless skylines, rock formations, and waterfalls as you enjoy an overview of how Yosemite Park’s unique landscape was formed, who came before, and how the park became the nation’s first ever protected national park. Next, strap up your hiking boots and embark on the 2.5 mile (4 km) round trip hike down to the Sequoia Grove which most day tour visitors do not get the chance to see.

With 1.5 hours of free time in Yosemite Valley you’ll also get the chance to wander through the picturesque meadows, check out the Visitor’s Center or just find a serene overlook to sit and reflect.

Dublin

We pick up all travelers from the Dublin BART station or the San Francisco Hilton Hotel in Union Square.

Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias

Photo stop at Tunnel View and take in the eastern expanse of Yosemite Valley.

During your free time in Yosemite Valley, you’ll have options to meander down paved paths, hike around Yosemite Falls, engage further with the park’s history at the visitor center or relax in the meadows.

It was a good tour, but a very long day. And, I'd recommend NOT going when Yosemite Valley is going to be ~ 99F or more by end of day. The trek down to the Sequoias was nice, but you have to trek back up & if you stop to take photos, the time does get short very quick. It was also hotter than anticipated on this portion of the day. I live in the PHX metro area, so was looking forward to not so much heat!

Great trip to Yosemite park. Met people from all over the US and Australia. The tour guide Brendon was friendly and very informative about the area.

Our car broke down and we had to wait a long time for replacement vehicles. Mitch our tour guide tried to get the best out of the tour but in the end unfortunately only a fraction of the tour was covered than originally planned and paid for. The Sequoias were still beautiful. It was definitely an adventure, if you can call it that.
