Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Tour

Overview
Explore glacially-formed cliffs, wildflower-speckled meadows, and hike to the towering Sequoias in the heart of Yosemite’s dynamic wilderness.

Immerse yourself in our day-long tour with our professional guides as they lead you through not only Yosemite Valley but also to see the ancient Giant Sequoias of Tuolumne Grove. You’ll capture the endless skylines, rock formations, and waterfalls as you enjoy an overview of how Yosemite Park’s unique landscape was formed, who came before, and how the park became the nation’s first ever protected national park. Next, strap up your hiking boots and embark on the 2.5 mile (4 km) round trip hike down to the Sequoia Grove which most day tour visitors do not get the chance to see.

With 1.5 hours of free time in Yosemite Valley you’ll also get the chance to wander through the picturesque meadows, check out the Visitor’s Center or just find a serene overlook to sit and reflect.

am i a little sad that we didn’t see the sequoias? yes 🥹 but literally it was still a 10/10 experience. coleman was our tour guide, he was so stinking cute and sweet! the views were immaculate. i’d say the meadows was my favorite part, looked like something out of a dream! but this inspired me to visit again on my own. there’s so much more to explore, thank you guys!

I purchased this tour for my mom and aunt since she was coming out of town. I dropped them both off at one of the destinations pick up spots. There was one in the city (SF) and it was easy for me to drop them off on my way to work. I was a bit worried until i dropped them off because i saw the huge group of people also going on this day excursion as well. My mom and aunt mentioned that it was such a fun and easy experience. The driver and the tour guide were so knowledgeable about everything. The tour guide also made it comfortable when he started talking about his time in Guatemala and that is where we are from. Pick up was at the same drop off location and it was not as late as i thought. I figured about 10pm? But no it was closer to 830/9? My mom and aunt couldn’t say enough great things about this tour. Thank you!

Such am amazing place to visit & definitely worth the day-trip. Our tour guide was a young lady (can't remember her name sorry) and she was brilliant - so enthusiastic & helpful, and clearly knew her stuff about Yosemite. The tour itself starts with a stop to tour the Sequoia trees (which is quite a hilly walk), but these huge trees are worth the walk. I had assumed that the tour guide would have come with us for the walking bits to talk us through the sights during the short hikes, but to be honest there is a written guide/map for the park, plus lots of signs along the way, so you don't really need an in-person tour guide for the whole day. Once you've seen the Sequoias, you then go to the main valley of the park where most of the main sites are & you spend a couple of hours doing the hikes there around some very breath-taking scenery. We had a slight issue on the day where our original bus broke down, which caused us a slight delay, but this was rectified by the company & a new bus arrived later on. And that just allowed us to spend a bit more time in the Valley to enjoy those sights. Overall I would definitely recommend both the tour and the guide that we had on the day!
