Between November and March, when the trail is not safe due to snow and ice accumulation, we substitute the hike with additional time in Yosemite Valley.
The Giant Sequoias Grove is located at a higher elevation and the hike is dependent on trail conditions, especially from October through May. Ice and snow might make the trail unsafe to hike. The decision of whether it is safe to go on the hike will be made on a day by day basis. Therefore, a visit cannot be guaranteed. However, while the trail might be closed, guests get to spend more time in Yosemite Valley. There you can see all the other great sights Yosemite has to offer, including El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more.
As tour sizes vary, transportation is in a 15-passenger van or up to a 40-passenger tour bus
Tour makes stops at approximately 8:30am for breakfast, 1pm for lunch and on the trip back for dinner. Meals are not included
For hotel pickups, please select the Hilton Union Square if your hotel is not listed
California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height. Tour was straight forward. Went on mid March 2025, so heavy snow and unable to visit Giant Sequoias, which is fine and great views in Yosemite. So the whole day we spent in Yosemite, from 11:30-3pm. Self guided walk around in whichever trails you want. I was under the impression that it will be a guided tour in the National Park. Don’t think this is worth AUD$350pp. Our coach driver and guide Brian was welcoming and got to tell us a lot of great information during the ride.

The visit to Yosemite National Park was tired for the long time spent, but wonderful for the landscape showed, besides the kindness and service of tour guide Andy was excellent during the trip.

This tour was 15 hours long. However we didn't have much time and wanted to visit Yosemite. We spent about 3 hours there. A very beautiful place well worth another visit. Andy was our driver and guide. Full of historical knowledge and good photographer too. He Arrived at our pickup point on time and was great and entertaining throughout our tour. We made about 4 or 5 photo stops on the way. The stops for bathroom breaks and breakfast and dinner well very well spread out and timely. Overall a great tour.
