Access to the Sequoia Grove can be difficult during winter months, generally October through April, and other activities may be substituted at the discretion of the guide
During winter months, temperatures in Yosemite can vary drastically to the ones in San Francisco. Therefore, it is recommend to wear winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads
California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height. Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.
As tour sizes vary, transportation is in a 13-passenger van or up to a 41-passenger tour bus
Tour makes stops at approximately 8:30am for breakfast, 1pm for lunch and on the trip back for dinner. Meals are not included

The Giant Sequoias Grove is located at a higher elevation and the hike is dependent on trail conditions, especially from October through May. Ice and snow might make the trail unsafe to hike. The decision of whether it is safe to go on the hike will be made on a day by day basis. Therefore, a visit cannot be guaranteed. However, while the trail might be closed, guests get to spend more time in Yosemite Valley. There you can see all the other great sights Yosemite has to offer, including El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more.

Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias

Tuolumne Grove is a sequoia grove located near Crane Flat in Yosemite National Park. It is about 16 miles west of Yosemite Village on Tioga Pass Road. The grove contains many conifers, including a few Sequoiadendron giganteum as well as Abies concolor and Pinus lambertiana. Weather permitting

I really enjoyed the tour and Yosemite. We spent just a few hours there but that's what I expected. The trip was long but I really liked the landscape and I enjoyed the explanations of the bus driver, which was a really cool man (I don't remember his name). We did a few stops to take photos. We visited the park in May so there was plenty of water on the waterfalls, which was nice. The bus was a bit old and some things broken, but I don't mind. Overall I recommend it. Of course, if I had more time I would try to spend a night there to have more time to visit the park in depth and hike (I couldn't).

Yosemite is beautiful, no doubt about that. Actual tour: The email states you must contact the tour company to confirm actual pick up location, having a very busy schedule on my holiday I had forgotten til the night before, luckily someone had replied to me to advise different location. I don't think people who pay really good money for the tour should re-confirm anything. It should be the tours responsibility to ensure their customers are clear on where their 6am depature begins! Our guide - although Jacob was super friendly, the sarcasm through the ENTIRE day got very old... It got to the point where we had to tune out and disregard all the information he was regurgitating. It was constant. The tour would have been enjoyable had he not been so sarcastic. The bus - old, poorly air conditioned... pros: USB charger, WiFi. It's a very long day (started at 6.20, home just after 9pm)! I've read other reviews on the tour and seems like there are more experienced tour guides who made their time very enjoyable! But great work Jacob, we still got what we paid for - a safe drive from San Fran to Yosemite & back!
