Additional Info
  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Service animals allowed
  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Between November and March, when the trail is not safe due to snow and ice accumulation, we substitute the hike with additional time in Yosemite Valley.
  • The Giant Sequoias Grove is located at a higher elevation and the hike is dependent on trail conditions, especially from October through May. Ice and snow might make the trail unsafe to hike. The decision of whether it is safe to go on the hike will be made on a day by day basis. Therefore, a visit cannot be guaranteed. However, while the trail might be closed, guests get to spend more time in Yosemite Valley. There you can see all the other great sights Yosemite has to offer, including El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more.
  • As tour sizes vary, transportation is in a 15-passenger van or up to a 40-passenger tour bus
  • Tour makes stops at approximately 8:30am for breakfast, 1pm for lunch and on the trip back for dinner. Meals are not included
  • For hotel pickups, please select the Hilton Union Square if your hotel is not listed
  • California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height. Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.

The Experience itself is a very long day. Lot of time on the bus. Nothing the company can do about that. But a great experience.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TOUR!!!! The worst tour we’ve ever been on in our lives. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Enough so that we would consider never taking a tour with anyone ever again. This was an all-day Yosemite Tour with Sequoias. First, our guide, Dustin, was a half hour late (which matters at 6am). He was also intensely unprofessional, complaining to us about someone calling out and the holiday. From there, drive was incredibly long with only one rest stop, which was not enough. There was no bathroom on the bus. Someone literally went to the bathroom in their pants because the bus wasn’t stopping. For real. I felt so bad for this man, who even asked to stop. There were no snacks. The rest stop was a grocery store. The driving was terrifying. The guide was not knowledgeable and gave a lot of misinformation throughout the day. We then get to the park, the guide drops us at a hiking location, not walking with us or giving us a tour. Then he took us to Yosemite Valley for 2 hours, which is far too long with not enough to do during an already long and tiring day. The guide comes back and everyone was waiting because we were ready to get out of there. As we’re getting on the bus, we notice his red, squinty eyes. It was clear he was high. We make our long way home. Everyone is exhausted. We make too many stops for pictures because, at this point, it’s been 14 hours and everyone is beyond spent. He also says how he’s all swervy with his driving because he’s tired, not drunk. You know, because that makes it all okay and isn’t scary. Finally make it back to San Francisco, and this guy LITERALLY says to us to get off at earlier stops and take Ubers back to our hotels so he doesn’t have to make as many stops. We get to our stop and get off the bus. Dustin stops us and, I kid you not, goes ā€œaren’t you forgetting something? You’re forgetting gratuity.ā€ We tip and tip well - this guy did not deserve. Hell, the HUNDREDS we spent to book this trip was too much for what the experience was and this tour guide. It ruined our whole day and started our entire trip off on the wrong foot, and we’ll keep this awful memory of the trip any time we think of San Francisco or Yosemite. Do not take this tour. Must See Tours is exceptional and well worth every penny plus a generous gratuity. Hell, rent a car and drive to Yosemite - that’s will be much, much, MUCH better than this Extranomical Yosemite Tour.

We have responded here to over a thousand reviews and take all feedback from guests super seriously. Almost without exception, we give guests the benefit of the doubt and do our best to address their concerns and make things right. This case, however, is an exception. We emailed and phoned this guest and got no response. We executed a full refund and still reply. We reviewed all 14 hours of video from four cameras on the vehicle and could not validate any of the claims by the reviewer (except for the fact that the tour IS a long day, something for which we make no apology). We hope the guest is satisfied with what we have done to address the situation and the readers will ignore their advice and join us on a 5-star tour to Yosemite!
