Overview

Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

Dress code: Sturdy & Secure Footwear Required, no heeled shoes / flip flops / wimpy sandals, no dresses or skirts.
Weight Recommendations: 50 – 250 pounds.
We run zip tours rain or shine. We cancel only because of high winds or lightning.
Zip lines vary in length and height: up to 1000 feet long, and about 85 feet high.

We had Shay & Evan leading us, they were great with my two boys, 9&12yrs old. Set in a beautiful forest, easily reachable by Uber. It was just the 3 of us so it finished within the 1.5hrs. Very humid, we stopped for water, the guys kept my wee one amused along the way as he was a little anxious but he enjoyed it all after the first jump. Kids cannot be attached to adult for this trip. You go at the right speed, so it was ideal, safe and I was worried about the landing, but that was not a problem at all. No need to wear gloves, which I’ve done in other zipline places. Brilliant time for the family. Shay and Evan were there to clip us on and off at both ends of zipline. Superb experience,Thanks guys! X

Had a ton of fun. James and Evan were the greatest. They definitely helped ease the anxiety of jumping off by being light hearted and sweet. Definitely want to return! Thanks guys!

We had Evan and James as our tour guides. They were hilarious and energetic. I am personally a bit scared of heights, but was able to complete the zipline course with no problem. The woods are beautiful and it was an amazing experience. (Ps you'll do some hiking in the woods, including climbing up some slopes, so be prepared!)
