Zipline Forest at Nashville North

Overview
Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

My husband and I decided we needed a little adventure while visiting Nashville - and this was definitely a great way to do that! We called to make reservations in the morning and were able to easily reserve a same day spot. Check in was quick and easy. One of our guides, Edward, met us and drove us up to the zipline area where we met our other guide, Keith. They were FANTASTIC! Funny, helpful, and all around great guys! We felt totally safe the entire time and the ziplines were so much fun! You start out with a "bunny hill" line, which gets you comfortable with the rest of the experience. It was not scary at all - definitely a rush! Make sure to wear closed toed shoes (tennies or hiking boots are probably the best) and clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty - especially if it has rained. You will be walking up some hills to get to the lines, so flip flops just won't do! Great experience, great guides, tons of fun. Highly recommend you stop by while in Nashville!

During a recent trip to Nashville - I took my 3 grandchildren age 6 - 12 to the Music City Zips. We had spent two days doing numerous things throughout Nashville but the visit to Fontanel was their favorite. The Music City Zips is staffed with fun and professional employees and the whole experience while on the property was a must do for every family !
