Zipline Forest at Nashville North

Overview
Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

This place is on the outer rim of Nashville, lots of vegetation. People are very friendly, guides were helpful and knowledgeable. 8 ziplines, any age can ride them. Some are fast, others mid speed. Just an awesome experience. Recommend it!

The best part of the zip line adventure, besides spending time with my family, was the two guys that helped us through the 8 zip stations. I'm almost 70, my Daughter is 45, and the Grandkids are 11 and 21. Keith and Edward took great care to make sure we all had a great time. By the way, this was the second time in six weeks that Natalia(11) and I went zipping at Fontanel and the second time we had a great time. We'll be back.

We stayed at the Inn at Fontanel after the CMA Awards show and were so excited to learn there was zip lining right at the resort! Well, actually - my husband was excited, and I was a little apprehensive being scared of heights! The girls at the store booked our adventure for the next day, and we met our Guides and they took us up about 1 mile to the zip area with lots of great info about the sport and the area. We felt safe and secure in our gear and they gave us lots of useful information - and made us feel very comfortable the whole time. It must be noted that there is some hiking required to get to the zip platforms....we are in our 40s and in decent shape, and were still huffing and puffing up the trails - not for the faint at heart. There were 8 total zip lines, and once I got the nerve to do the first one (after watching my Hubby go first)....i was hooked! Each zip got a little higher or faster (or both) and they were a blast! Our guides took photos of us and video as well - and we got to ride together on our final zip! Now we are HOOKED and can't wait to go again....this is a MUST DO for folks of all ages...it's so much fun, the Guides are great and the property is just beautiful...especially in the Fall :) Oh, and the price is AWESOME for all the adventure it provides!
