Overview

Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

Dress code: Sturdy & Secure Footwear Required, no heeled shoes / flip flops / wimpy sandals, no dresses or skirts.

We run zip tours rain or shine. We cancel only because of high winds or lightning.
Zip lines vary in length and height: up to 1000 feet long, and about 85 feet high.

The rain stopped just in time for our group of 5 to take off and fly through the forest. Our guides were the best, even loaned us rain jackets to keep the "zip Juice" from the damp lines off our clothes. Natalie, Mike and Paul were so much fun. I highly recommend Adventureworks Zipline. We have been to both locations in Nashville and they're both lots of fun. Can't wait to visit Nashville again just to go ziplining!

What a fun night! Zip lining through the forest in the dark, under a full moon was amazing. Our instructors were fantastic, knowledgeable, fun and safety-minded. The added element of zipping through the forest in the dark made this one of the best adventures that I have done. They only do the Full Moon rides once a month so check the website to see when they are available, but do it! It is so worth it. If you are timid about heights, you won't see how far off the ground you are! There are a couple of high platforms that you will need to climb, but everything is netted and safe.

While visiting Nashville I surprised my husband with a zip lining adventure! This place was awesome!!! The guides where so friendly and made the event so much fun with their humor and banter! Loved the experience!!!! Would highly recommend! Ps. Be sure to tip your guides at the end...I read it on another review and I’m glad I came prepared! They are well deserving of tips!!!
