Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

Dress code: Sturdy & Secure Footwear Required, no heeled shoes / flip flops / wimpy sandals, no dresses or skirts.
Weight Recommendations: 50 – 250 pounds.
We run zip tours rain or shine. We cancel only because of high winds or lightning.
Zip lines vary in length and height: up to 1000 feet long, and about 85 feet high.

My kids loved it!! It was my 3rd (and best experience) but their first! They were afraid at first but my 9yr old son led the troops and volunteered to be the first to take the leap at all 8 tiers! They are already plotting and planning to come back! We might make it a family tradition to go once a year around this time😁😇😎

This place is great. The staff was friendly and a lot of fun. I highly recommend checking out adventureworks zipline forest. You won't be disappointed.

Booked a trip that departed at 5pm, I wouldn’t recommend that. The North location wasn’t prepared for evening. There were 7 of us in the zipping adventure. First family quit on line 2 because they didn’t feel safe. We quit on line 5 because it was getting very dark and no one had any lights. The guides (2) had to stay for the remaining people. We had to find our way through the woods back to the van ourselves. It was pitch black by the time they returned to open the vehicle. Maybe during the day it would have been fun. However, the guide admitted to not having the proper equipment for evening tours and they are only equipped to do that at another location. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it. If they don’t obey safety issues, then what other safety issues could be being ignored?
