Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

Dress code: Sturdy & Secure Footwear Required, no heeled shoes / flip flops / wimpy sandals, no dresses or skirts.

We run zip tours rain or shine. We cancel only because of high winds or lightning.
Zip lines vary in length and height: up to 1000 feet long, and about 85 feet high.

Ziplines were great. Guides were a lot of fun. It was excellent the guides allowed me to tape my sandals to my feet after I forgot to bring my tennis shoes.

My boyfriend and I took a quick trip to Nashville and decided to go zip lining. This was the best experience ever! Despite having zip lined before, I didn't plant my feet when landing and ended up going back out and getting stuck in the middle of the highest line. But Tyler to the rescue. Tyler had to come and get me..... We really enjoyed this experience and will definitely recommend Adventure Works (North) to everyone. There are 8 lines. The scenery is beautiful and the hike isn't bad at all. Shout out to Tyler, Julia, and Bre they were amazing. Special shout out to Tyler for saving my little life :) - she is a Zip lining ROCK STAR. Do yourself a favor and book a tour at Zip line Forest (North) - you won't regret it!
