Zipline Forest at Nashville North

Overview
Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

The zipp lines were great but cameras need to be placed on the platforms to make sure the guides are not mistreating people. I am an older woman and was last in line so there was one of the guides that apparently chose to dislike me. Only me and him on the platform, no witnesses. At one platform he grabbed my harness and jerked it 3 times, and said nothing. I'm assuming it needed to be adjusted but he should have said something first,,,I almost fell. At the last zipp he was at end of Zipp,,he did not catch me and I hit the ground hard. My daughter was standing there watching and as we walked off she said geez, what was that,,he didn't do that way to anyone else. The other guide Joe was a great kind hearted guide.
