Overview

Zipping is a thrilling adventure with a bird’s eye view! Families, friends, and groups of all kinds love soaring through the green hills of Fontanel, through the trees in our majestic old growth forest on 9 separate zip lines covering about 1.5 miles of terrain. Zippers sail through the air on steel cables, secured in a safety harness and attached to a zip pulley system. Zip tours operate year-round. Experience zipping during every season!

Originally built in 1988 for country music superstar Barbara Mandrell, Fontanel was envisioned to be a place of peace and harmony set in the beautiful Whites Creek Valley of Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 its doors were opened to the public. Since then, Fontanel has become one of Nashville’s premier music and lifestyle destinations.

Dress code: Sturdy & Secure Footwear Required, no heeled shoes / flip flops / wimpy sandals, no dresses or skirts.
Weight Recommendations: 50 – 250 pounds.
We run zip tours rain or shine. We cancel only because of high winds or lightning.
Zip lines vary in length and height: up to 1000 feet long, and about 85 feet high.

This experience was AMAZING!!! My family and I just arrived to the area and wanted to do something fun and exciting. Our two guides were awesome. They explained all the safety guidelines in a way that was informative and fun. We were placed in a group with 4 other zip liners, and we quickly felt comfortable with our little group. We cheered and encouraged the more timid riders...and shouted out big cheers when they completed each zip line. Mason and Shay were our guides. I personally can't say enough about how accommodating these gentleman were. I have some back issues and was worried about the stopping at the end of each line. They went the extra mile to make sure my landings were gentle and smooth. What great customer service!!! Can't wait to take other family and friends on this adventure!!!

Anna and Landon, if I remember names correctly, were great! They were professional but treated us like we were friends. They kept us safe but made for a fun experience.

This was our first experience zip-lining and I’m glad we chose this place after careful consideration. Mason and Cameron were phenomenal with the whole family. They were kind, safe, and thoughtful towards my two children who were 6 and 10 year old. We laughed and had a great time. We recommend this to all who want a one of a kind adventure when visiting Nashville!!
